Ciudad Guzman (AFI: / sju’ðað gus’man /) is a city in the Mexican state of Jalisco. Located 123 km south of Guadalajara, at a height of 1,507 meters above sea level. According to the Census of Population and Housing 2010 by the INEGI, it had a population of 97.750 inhabitants.

Ciudad Guzman is the head of the municipality of Zapotlán the Great, having an area of 295.29 square kilometers with a population density of 325.27 inhabitants per square kilometer. Before the arrival of the Spaniards, this area was the realm of Zapotlán, which was conquered in 1526.
